To those who don’t know him Alex can come off as uncaring and rather disrespectful due to his mellow nature, tired expression, and persistent cough. Besides his general lack of expression he can be very social, and quite the conversationalist. He loves intelligent conversation and is friendly around most people. However it is very difficult to earn his complete trust and loyalty. Only around those that he really feels comfortable will he share all of his opinions. Maybe if you’re lucky he’ll even show you his witty sarcastic side.
History:
Alex grew up in the care of a professor and an alchemist, Dr. Corvney. She was like a mother to him, as well as the best friend he could of asked for. The two brought out the best in each other. Dr. Corvney was the one who gave Alexander his love for knowledge. She was the one person he would have put before himself, but the time came when he had to leave his childhood home. He did not want to leave his aging caretaker, but she urged him to. He knew is was mostly because she did not want him to see her when she was truly old a decrepit. After their teary eyed goodbye he never saw her again. He was 30 and she was 56.
Dr. Corvney told him about the the Otherworlde school before he left, but he did not want to potentially sign his soul away before he got a look at the world. He took his time exploring the world, never settling in one place and always traveling on his own. After he was satisfied with his traveling he decided to finally venture to a different part of the world. From Venice he set out for the Otherworlde Academy.
Misc. Information:
- Animals tend to dislike him because they can sense his diseased aura.
- He doesn't actually stink. He has enough decency to shower.
- He snores really loud. It’s funny if you’re not trying to sleep.
- He tries to eat healthy, but honestly he'll eat anything.

Lit SampleAlready holding three brooks in his arm, Alex continued to determinedly skim the shelves of the campus library. He was already slightly agitated since he was unable to access the more powerful spell books on the higher levels, so searched through the book titles with furrowed brows. He had reached the end of a row, nothing.
Looking up and around he noticed one of the libraries shadow monsters.
“What do you want? Shoo.”
